Why can't TealSpeed see my applications or use their original icons? (33%)
This is a security restriction that webOS places on third party apps. Any apps sold in the App Catalog are prevented from seeing other apps or accessing their data. You can, however, install the separate homebrew AppScan application on the TealSpeed Page to get codes for all your apps. A comprehensive list of all app codes can also be found at Preware.org

Why does TealSpeed place multiple icons in my notification area when I have dashboards enabled? I'd like only one. (15%)
WebOS limits dashboards to being 50 pixels tall, so we create a separate dashboard for every icon row in which the 'dashboard' option is turned on. Since webOS treats each dashboard as a separate entity, it draws a separate icon for each row.

How do I get more than three rows of icons in the popup dashboard? (32%)
In the settings screen for each icon cell, the top setting lets you enable the dashboard for the entire row, and whether the icon name appears or not. By default, the dashboard is off for any new rows you create, but you can turn on as many rows as you like, space permitting.

How do I get the code for an app that isn't listed in TealSpeed? (29%)
To get an applications' id code, use the AppScan utility on the TealSpeed page. This is a homebrew app, so you need to use either the Palm webOS SDK or webOS Quick Install to install the app using Developer mode. When you run the app, it scans all your apps and adds any missing codes to the shared online database. You can then update your list in TealSpeed to see the new additions.

How can I add additional icons to TealSpeed? (22%)
TealSpeed will import any image supported by webOS (jpeg, png, gif). Just copy them to your USB drive partition and use the 'Import Image' button in the TealSpeed icon screen. For best results, use icons pre-scaled to 48x48 pixels.

How do I delete a single icon without deleting the entire row? (20%)
You don't need to delete an icon; you can just hide it, and it will be treated as if it doesn't exist. Just tap on the icon cell in the edit screen and select the 'Hide this cell' button.

How do I move icons around? (18%)
Just tap-and-hold them on the edit screen and drag them to their new location. If there are no unused icons at the end of the row where you are inserting, TealSpeed will shuffle the icons in subsequent rows to make space.
